Dr. Björn Braun studied law at the Universities of Göttingen, Thessaloniki and Bonn. After receiving his law degree, he went on to complete post-graduate studies receiving a Master of Science in Commercial Law (LL.M.) in Cologne with an employment law concentration. Dr. Björn Braun then received his J.D. His dissertation was on individual employment law. He then went on to complete his internship in the human resources department at Deutschlandfunk and at two international commercial law firms in Cologne in their employment law practices. Dr. Björn Braun started his work as an attorney in 2015 at an international law firm in the Employment & Pensions practice group. In the spring of 2018, he joined Küttner as an attorney.
Dr. Björn Braun advises, counsels and represents national and international companies in all questions of individual employment law and collective labor law. A main area of practice is providing advice, counsel and representation to partners, members and managing directors in status determination proceedings against the German Pension Insurance and in front of the social courts. In addition, Dr. Björn Braun is also focused on advising, counseling and representing his clients in employment law matters, in protection against dismissal proceedings, as well as through drafting employment, termination and settlement agreements. Dr. Björn Braun routinely publishes employment and labor law contributions and holds lectures on employment and labor law matters.
