Interns are provided enough leeway to be able to incorporate what they are learning at work into their studies - ranging from current law, procedural law to all manner of employment law topics - that have a direct impact on their examination. To secure the best possible education and training, interns are assigned to a dedicated Partner who accompanies and trains the intern. The Partner is the intern’s direct contact and is always available to the intern as a sounding board. We want to ensure that you feel comfortable and at ease at Küttner, that you receive an intimate insight into the facets of employment law, all the while making sure that you are well prepared for the second state examination.

For those still studying, who completed their first state examination with a better than average score, or those completing their law internship and would like to get an up-close and personal view of our day-to-day employment law practice, Küttner offers legal research assistants a top-notch environment to immerse deep into the particulars of all aspects of employment law, ranging from assisting in trial prep, to hearings, client meetings and much, much more. Be it digging into commentaries, monographies or contributions to prestigious legal journals - at Küttner legal research assistants are directly involved. Working independently and doing deep dives into legal questions that to-date have extensively not been researched are, of course, a part of a legal research assistant’s workload.

Küttner also offers interested students the opportunity to participate in our annual Küttner-Career-Day. In addition to being introduced to our firm and receiving your first insights into being an employment law attorney, participants will also partake in an employment law related lecture and are invited to visit one of Küttner’s longstanding German or international clients. Küttner also invites applicants to enter a drawing for the current edition of the “Personalbuch” (“Personnel Reference Book”).
