Dr. Benjamin Ittmann studied law at the University of Bonn from 1996 to 2001 and worked as a research assistant for the Institute of Employment and Social Security Law.
After completing his doctorate and law internship, he started his practice as an attorney at a major German law firm in 2006. His main practice area was the representation and counseling of companies in employment law matters. Dr. Ittmann joined Küttner in 2010. Dr. Ittmann advises, counsels and represents companies, executive bodies, executives and officers in all collective, individual employment, service agreement and company law matters. Dr. Ittmann has specialized expertise in anti-competition prohibition and the appointment, dismissal and removal of board members, executives and officers, as well as in the area of corporate body liability.
Dr. Ittmann advises, counsels and represents companies, executive bodies, and executives in compliance matters, accompanies company-internal investigations and represents his clients before the courts. Dr. Ittmann published commentary on contractual and post-contractual competition prohibition in the Online Major Commentary Civil Law [Online-Großkommentar Zivilrecht] of the C.H. Beck-Verlag (BeckOGK).
