Dr. Michel Hoffmann studied law and commercial law (LL.B) at the University of Osnabrück and the University of Hull (UK) from 2007 to 2013. He then worked as a research assistant (initially full-time) at the Civil Law, Employment Law and Company Law Chair of Prof. Dr. Markus Stoffels at the Ruprecht-Karl University of Heidelberg. There he received his doctorate; his dissertation was on a works constitution topic. In 2016, he started his two-year internship at the Regional Appeals Court Karlsruhe, during which he completed stations at Küttner and an international commercial law firm in the practice area of employment law. Dr. Michel Hoffmann joined Küttner as an attorney early 2019. He advises, counsels and represents his clients in all individual and collective employment law matters. His main areas of practice include the drafting of complex employment law arrangements (in particular remuneration and compensation models), labor law in the public sector, topics concerning New Work as well as all questions of works constitution law. Dr. Michel Hoffmann publishes regularly on current employment law topics and gives lectures on them.
